QuickMessage Forwarding:

The ability to decide if a mesage can be forwarded or not is a feature to keep users from abusing others by sending around unauthorized videos. Old videos can no longer be sent around to stop all the abuse of the video traders. This will make for a better environment. Sure there will be objections but user security outweighs the objections of a few video traders.

• You will not be able to forward QMs that were created prior to ICUII 7.6 *
• You can now decide if any QM you create with ICUII 7.6 can be forwarded or not. **
• ICUII staff are now easily indentifiable. Any user with the text “mod” before their name in the directory is an ICUII Moderator.
• ICUII 7.6 is NOT compatible with ICUII 7.5 and lower with respect to Quick Messages ***

*These QMs can only be forwarded to Moderators (ie, Members of the ICUII Support Team).If you attempt to forward a QM and the name list for forwarding only shows users with “Mod” before their name. This will be because either:

1. The QM was created prior to ICUII 7.6
2. The QM was originally sent as “not forwardable”.

To explain why Quick Messages created prior to ICUII 7.6 are no longer forwardable. Many ICUII users were unhappy that their QMs were able to be forwarded. Especially Quick Messages that had been created before QM Forwarding had been introduced. For this reason, it was decided that all QMs created prior to ICUII 7.6 should not be able to be forwarded. However, you will still be able to view QMs that were forwarded to you prior to ICUII 7.6

**The QM composer will remember the last setting you chose for forwarding. So always ensure that you make the right selection for forwarding before sending the Quick Message

*** If you see garbled text in your Message Center instead of a message from a friend, and you do not see their image in the Message Center. The most likely cause is that you are not using ICUII 7.6 . Please download and install ICUII 7.6 either via Auto-Update at the earliest opportunity.
